Hello,
Our April picnic was very well attended. Even though only 18 of our association members were present, we had around 60 guests that had a great time with their children and families. I would like to thank Gloria, Destiny as well as Jeanne and Grisel for their efforts to make this event successful. Next year our April event will take place at "The Pines of Windermere". The board has approved that this to be a SUMMER KICK OFF party with a DJ, food, drinks, outdoors sports and dancing. It will start early afternoon and finish in the evening. It will take place on Sunday April 22, 2012. We are giving you early notice so you can start planning for this new special event.
We almost have all necessary speakers for the educational session at the Hammock Beach Resort. They are still some speaker's spots but they are rapidly filling up. For those interested please contact Dr. Luis Herrera as soon as possible at his cell phone (407-401-2203) or his e-mail Luis.Herrera@orlandohealth.com. We expect that in the next two weeks the schedule will be settled.
We are still looking for exhibitors. Please if you know of any company that can be of assistance, please contact us at your soonest convenience.
For the Labor day Dinner Banquet we will be Cruising on" PAMA on the Seas ", so bring your Tommy Bahamas outfits. The Bohemian night will have a Karaoke/DJ , if you have any particular songs you wish to sing let us know to make sure we have it on the list, we also encourage to bring your instruments to hear you playing and singing.
Our board meeting took place this last Wednesday and another meeting is planned for the second week of June. The minutes are on the website. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.
